Painting and Decorating
This is an exciting project in Birchington. The timber is Spanish Sweet Chestnut that came from a sustainable source in Northern Spain. The timber was processed in a timber mill in Northern Spain and was transformed into fascia, soffit boards and v-grooved cladding. The timber is sanded to open the pores of the timber, then four coats of Owatrol Marine D.1 oil applied over a two-hour period. This must rest for three days and then three coats of Owatrol Marine D.2 high gloss oil applied over a three-day period. This gives the timber a long-lasting and durable finish.
